The Supreme Soviet of the U.S.S.R. has amended the constitution on Sept. 23 2025. The previous constitution of the U.S.S.R., which was nearly 100 years old, needed to be updated to reflect the current administrative regime, and members of the U.S.S.R.
Additional amendments to fundamental U.S.S.R. laws are expected before the end of the year.
